Unfortunately the spam bots of the world have discovered freecycle.org. Chapters around the world are reporting the same issue when a member posts either an Offer or Wanted post on freecycle.org. After you post you might receive what looks like a response (from freecycle.org or another credible source) asking you to fill out a form or share your personal email address. THIS IS A SCAM. DO NOT RESPOND. The HQ at freecycle.org has worked on a solution but, as we all know, hackers soon find ways around the best defenses. So please, be aware of suspicious emails or responses to posts.
