Freecycle.org is completely free to use and we will never ask for payment or credit card details in order to use our website. We do occasionally request donations, but this is always optional and not a condition of creating or using a Freecycle account. We are not asking for account verification, or running a lottery.
We are investigating the situation and disabling the spammers as quickly as we can. We apologise for the inconvenience this has caused.
