SPAM MESSAGES
We are aware that our members have received spam messages in reply to their posts. Please do not click on the link in the message, or reply to it.
It is not necessary to send us examples of the messages you are receiving.
Freecycle.org is completely free to use and we will never ask for payment or credit card details in order to use our website. We do occasionally request donations, but this is always optional and not a condition of creating or using a Freecycle account. We are not asking for account verification, or running a lottery.
We are investigating disabling the spammers as quickly as we can and working on preventing further spam messages. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.
